Bridgett and Victor decided to have their wedding vow renewal in Rome, a city they deeply love.
It was a small affair with just families and closest friends coming all the way from the States and the lovely, always smiling couple asked me for an intimate venue that could offer a true Italian experience.
I couldn’t think of a better place than Hotel De La Ville, a Rocco Forte hotel, with its charming and elegant atmosphere, where you can definitely savour La Dolce Vita.
The couple and their lovely daughter left for a photoshoot around Rome a couple of hours prior to the wedding vow renewal, so as to be able to spend more time with the guests during the event.
The vow renewal ceremony was officiated by a family member, making it all very personal and touching. The colourful flower decor fitted just perfectly in the unique Ivy Room and served as a lovely backdrop for beautiful pictures. The women were all dressed in bright colours to match the wedding colour palette and the bridal bouquet. I simply loved that!
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with drinks and canapés in the small courtyard, while Bridgett and Victor left for just a few more pictures around the Spanish Steps. The hotel is so conveniently located, which is one of the reasons why I love it so much!
A delicious dinner was served on a private terrace which is just ideal for small weddings and view renewals. The bright, cheerful long table was decorated with mixed, colourful flowers and powder blue candles; a touch of gold for the vases and candle holders, all superbly complimenting the white and emerald green plates.
A DJ played background music for the whole evening, including the track for a special father-daughter dance, which was truly touching.
All the little details were carefully planned by Dolce Vita Weddings so as to craft an unforgettable wedding vow renewal for this lovely, always smiling couple and their adorable guests. What a heartfelt event, full of joy and colours and wonderful people. I couldn’t have asked for more!
