About
Your Wedding Planner in Rome
Ciao! My name is Daniela and I would love to be your wedding planner in Rome.
I was born in Rome on the New Year’s Eve of some time ago. After graduating as an English translator and living abroad for a few years, in particular the UK and the US, I settled back in my hometown, where I started planning weddings, a job that perfectly fits my self-organsing and planning attitude. From the very start, I decided to plan weddings only for foreign couples, and not Italian ones, because I felt I could be more useful. I also believed planning destination weddings would be more fun and consistent with my passion for foreign languages, in particular English, as well as my working experience abroad and my local knowledge of the Eternal City.
So here I am, planning weddings with my Dolce Vita Weddings since 2005 and I’m still standing, as Elton John would sing!
I do not offer pre-made packages, but prefer using a personal approach to create tailor-made events, so I only take up a few weddings a year, which I can personally plan, with the priceless help of my wonderful, trustworthy vendors and assistants on the wedding day.
My experience comes from working in the industry for so many years and learning something new from anyone, suppliers and couples, at each wedding, whether be it an elopement or a large-scale event with 200 guests.
I’m also a very curious person: I’ve taken wine classes (but remain a tea-addict), bakery classes (I have a sweet tooth and I’m a big fan of Tiramisu and scones with clotted cream) and pasta-making classes (my very Italian side: I’m a pasta lover).
All this has made me the wedding planner I am today, happy to share this wealth of experiences with the couples who’ll want me to be part of their big day.
Why me?
Truth is… I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes! There are so many wedding planners in Italy nowadays, that it can be truly difficult to make a choice.
Let me be your wedding planner if you are looking for:
a locally-based planner, yet fluent in English (trying my best!) – I was born in Rome and I’ve been living here most of my life, apart from a few years spent abroad to study and work and practice English, my favourite language!
a foreign-couples oriented service – I’ve only been working for foreign couples, especially from the US and the UK, but also from Ireland, Australia, Lebanon, the Philippines, Dubai, Canada, Hong Kong and more!
a personal approach – I will be your wedding planner, you won’t be passed to an assistant and that’s why I only take one event per day
a planner with great experience and connections – I’ve been in the wedding industry for several years and have managed to create some wonderful relationships with wedding venues, vendors, churches; a little kindness and organisational skills have always helped
a straightforward person – I’ll share an idea of the wedding budget based on past weddings you should consider in order to create your dream wedding, so as to be very clear from the very start, rather than promising you the moon and coming up with tons of additional costs throughout the planning
a team of valuable professionals– I was able to create a portfolio of trustworthy professionals (catering company, florists, HMUAs, etc.); not only are their amazing at their job, but they also are lovely people, a pleasure to work with
Let the couples I’ve helped over the years speak for me and confirm all of this.
